They Really WILL Say Anything . . . Speaker of the House John Boehner On Romney’s Videotaped “47%er” Truth Telling Session
I really should post these unbelievable comments everyday. . . Earlier today Speaker of the House John Boehner emerged from hiding to announce that the farm bill would not be voted on until next year. Nothing new there. Sidestepping votes that would be considered vital on earth has become a ritual of the visiting aliens of the GOP. Of course, the Speaker had to step up to the plate and take his swing at Romney’s 47%er comments. He missed.
Here’s the gist of his answer:
“. . . you’re going to have both campaigns on both sides that say things that get off the message. The message is, let’s stay focused on jobs, because that’s what the American people want us to stay focused on.”
Are you kidding me? Us?The GOP Congressional focus on jobs is akin to Mr.
Magoo’s. They have consciously blocked all reasonable legislation to assist in boosting the economy. This is well known. Does Boehner think we cannot read, cannot remember?
Have a look at this, a compilation of GOP inaction on creating jobs, and then try to fathom the things they will say when they (still) think they can get away with it.
