In New Hampshire last Friday night, GOP candidate Rick Perry clearly one-upped George W. Bush’s best comedic efforts.  As MailOnline suggests, anyone who gets that excited by the tax code is a funny man.  And BOY, does he ever be lovin’ New Hampshire!  The crowd rewarded Mr. Perry’s efforts with a bottle of their primary export, maple syrup, which he energetically examined, perhaps for the alcohol content. . .

In any event, Perry’s a hoot. And following his speech, in focus group research, his grades were quite high in comedy-related areas, for example, many rated him “fit for a sanitarium.”  He scored incredibly low in “Presidential,” however, finishing a smidgen above Michele Bachmann’s scores the previous month  Following from that revelation during the debriefing of the focusers, a question came up rather often among them as they mingled outside the auditorium before heading home. It remains unanswered. It’s an interesting one nonetheless . . .

Their birth certificates could resolve this.
