High unemployment . . . massive cutbacks in government spending at all levels that will be felt more and more going forward . . . more public spending cuts by the debt deal-inspired “Committee of Six” is assured . . . nothing much that the Federal Reserve can do. . . as I’ve written often, we never pulled out of the recession in June 2009 . . . etc., etc. More on that later this week.
