Re-Elected Congressloon Steve King (R-IA) On “Obabacare” – “Anyone Got A Match?”
“Anyone got a match?” |
Iowa’s Republican Congressloon Steve King’s got plans for the Affordable Care Act. Of course, he can afford the delays this will cause, as a member of Congress he’s got pretty good health insurance coverage to choose from.
On October 30th, in a state of “premature election” . . . euphoria, he spoke with Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit, and once again reminded me why I love him so.
About what they call “Obamacare” (like when we say “Reagonomics”), the Congressloon spouted:
“First, I already introduced an amendment to repeal it. We’re going to elect a large freshman class. You’ll find that a lot of democrat representatives will lose their seat because of it. The first bill coming out of the new Congress will be HR 1 to repeal Obamacare. We will send this to the president’s desk where he will veto it. Then we will put language in each and every bill to halt payment for Obamacare. Then in 2012 we can elect a new president who will repeal Obamacare. We must elect a president in 2012 who will repeal Obamacare.” [Italics added]
I just wish he’d issue a follow-up that more clearly expresses his position. . .
