Oh, and it’s dawning on me that the tax discussion coming soon via the “super committee” will only consider tax “loopholes,” “shelters,” “deductions,” and “credits.” Worthy causes, true, but consider that the home mortgage deduction will also be “on the table,” and, ironically, the deduction favorable to most American’s will be up for grabs.
cut or eliminated out of “fairness.” To whom? Why the wealthy, of course, who will be forced to surrender their “corporate jet” deduction and their home mortgage deduction . . .
