By now even the youngest citizen of the remotest village on the remotest island on our planet knows of the Texas Ted Cruz imbecilibuster [im-buh-silly-buster], his 21 hour-long soliloquy to accomplish basically nothing legislative or responsible. It did, however, help him wrap up the support of the über right-wing for 2016. Using the Senate floor as a campaign stop was, of course, not a first, but Cruz’s creative imbecilibuster was.
