NRA To Introduce Pick-Up Truck Like George Zimmerman’s, the “ZIM.” Fully Loaded $88,999, Satellite Mediated Targeting Extra
Michael Matthew Bloomer, August 2, 2013
Yesterday, Floridian George Zimmerman had a brush with the law in Texas when he was pulled over for speeding and disclosed to the patrolman’s question that, yes, he had a pistol in his glove compartment (which is legal in Texas via its reciprocity with other open carry states). Reacting quickly to the news, and realizing the positive publicity this created for 2nd Amendment mavens, a NRA spokesperson announced their intention to enter the automobile business.
“As soon as our membership saw Zimmerman’s pick-up truck, we were bombarded with requests for a National Rifle Association version. Since open carry is state-of-the-art in the patriotic states, we realized that we could produce a vehicle just like Zim’s and, better still, we could outfit it like a patriotic truck oughta be. From our members’ emails and phone calls we know we have a huge customer base. So, after a short conference call, the board decided to go ahead. We pretty quickly came up with a design that looks and feels like Zim’s 2008 Honda Ridgeline, but carries with it and on it enough firepower to stand-your-ground anywhere, anytime! Look for it in late October 2013.”
The NRA released their design. If interested, get your order in soon. Me, I’m afraid to even sit in that thing . . .
