D.C. Rally & March Planned To Oppose Big Bird’s Pre-Election “Million Puppet March”

WASHINGTON — More than 1,000 puppeteers and public broadcasting supporters have signed on for a march on the National Mall in Washington three days before the election.
The so-called Million Puppet March being planned online is scheduled for Nov. 3. By Wednesday morning, more than 1,000 participants had responded on Facebook, saying they would attend.
It didn’t take long for a response from those who believe they are already overtaxed, and also think that PBS, and Big Bird, ought to be jettisoned asap. So, to get their point across, this disparate group of rugged individuals has closed ranks and have scheduled a counter demonstration to draw attention from the puppeteers.
