Concerns About Girl Scouts USA Vastly Underestimated, Our Investigation Shows
Doubts About Scouts. Suspicions about the true nature of Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA) have been ongoing for some years now, particularly by the Family Research Council. Although some Americans still harbor the belief that GSUSA encourages a mix of healthy growth, patriotic citizenship, ethical leadership, and useful skill development, more Americans than ever believe the organization has more sinister purposes.
According to Focus on the Family polling data 97% of Americans now believe there’s more to girl scouts than Thin Mints and smiling faces; Americans fear something rotten at the core. Sadly, this blog, in cooperation with the Department of Defense, the Vatican Air Force, and embedded Christian evangelical surveillance agents within GSUSA, can now verify the truth of all our worst suspicions about the Girl Scouts. And more.
Quick background. Lately, GSUSA criticism has increased and the issue is a staple of media and, even legislative, discussion. For example, on February 12, 2012, GOP Indiana state Representative, Bob Morris, sent out an alert to his GOP colleagues. Among his GSUSA concerns:
“[A]bundant evidence proves that the agenda of Planned Parenthood includes sexualizing young girls through the Girl Scouts, which is quickly becoming a tactical arm of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood instructional series and pamphlets are part of the core curriculum at GSA training seminars.”
Moreover, the Fort Wayne area Congressman continued:
“In fact, the Girl Scouts education seminar girls are directed to study the example of role models. Of the fifty role models listed, only three have a briefly-mentioned religious background – all the rest are feminists, lesbians, or Communists. World Net Daily. . .”
Also, last Friday, NPR’s Newscast Division reported that the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops sent an “official inquiry” to the Girl Scouts of the USA. According to NPR,
“The new inquiry will be conducted by the Bishop’s committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth. It will look into whether the Girl Scouts have “possible problematic relationships with other organizations.”
In typically obscure terms, Girl Scouts’ spokeswoman, Michelle Tompkins, responded, “I know we’re a big part of the culture wars. People use our good name to advance their own agenda.” Culture wars, indeed, Ms. Tompkins.
What They Will Say Anything! Discovered. Our reporters have found that the criticisms of GSUSA, rather than being overdone as GSUSA supporters insist, do not go far enough. Indeed, not nearly far enough. Simply stated, the Girl Scouts of the USA is infested with radicalism. Communism, socialism, and progressive populism exist side-by-side with secularism, atheism, feminism, and policies promoting abortion, smoking, altruism, the Volcker rule, property redistribution, and support for the immediate national legalization of marijuana.
Even more stunning is that 96% of its funds from Girl Scout cookie sales, the very public symbol of the Girl Scouts, is donated to organizations both questionable and unpatriotic, groups like:
Girl Scouts United for a Muslim America; and
the Scouts 4 Pot Fund; Camp Abortion;
Occupy Everything; and
Unwashed Lesbians Anarchists of the World.
There are many others who receive funds from Girl Scout cookie sales. They Will say ANYTHING! investigators, via outright bribery, accessed the following GSUSA “fact sheet,” prepared for the Board of Directors eyes only,
